Description
Fibershield-W is a curtain textile fire curtain protection closure, engineered for façade and window openings. Fibershield-W is a cost-effective solution when manually operated since it is designed for widths up to 3’2” with smaller drop lengths. The manual operation is performed with hand wheel. If required, the system can be automated with a motorized drive.
The Fibershield-W can be engineered with two fabric options. When the building has metal windows, the system requires the “Ecotex” fabric, while the “Heliotex” fabric is strongly recommended for wood or metal windows. In case of fire, the fire protection is triggered thermo mechanically, it can also be released through optional fire detection elements.
